Please join us in gathering around Linda to support her as she is recovering from her stroke. Visitation hours are daily from 3:30pm until 8:30pm, as she has rehabilitation most days until that time. If you would prefer to visit earlier in the day, you can join her for breakfast at 8am or lunch at 12pm. Dinner is at 5pm during regular visitng hours. Multiple visits in one day are absolutely, fine. The purpose of this calendar is to ensure that she has is being visited by friends and family on most days. Linda has "Aphasia". Please understand this means that her facial expressions and reactions might be different than what you expect. She understands everything, but has a hard time getting the words out to respond. Please conversate as normal, but when asking her a question, ask one question at a time, and then give her time to answer. If she loses a thought, just tell her "we can come back to that later" and move on. Thank you all for your love and support as we cheelead Linda through this long and tedious recovery.
