We are in a spiritual battle. Ephesians (6:10-12) tells us to "be strong in the Lord and the power of his might." We are instructed to "put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." As we draw near to the return of Christ, this fight will intensify. Now more so than ever, demonic forces are being manifested in a dark cloud of deception, chaos and confusion. Satan knows his days are numbered. We know that God reigns and that the victory is his. Luke 10: 18-19 tells us, "Jesus has given us authority of ALL the powers of the enemy." I am asking all men in Christi to stand in prayer for one hour on October 31, 2026 primarily between the hours of 3:00 - 4:00 AM. (Matthew 26) I ask men because God has given us the responsibility of being the priests of our households. Women and children are encouraged to pray also. Please pray for our households, families, friends, city, nation, and the world. Pray that God will break the chains of bondage and darkness and bring them to the light of Christ. This is not a criticism against costumes, parties, trick or treating, etc. but an opportunity for us to come against the demonic activities that are prevalent during this time. As followers of Christ, we are reminded that "greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world." If you are able and willing, without endangering yourself, pray from your rooftop! (Acts 10) Pray on your back patio, on your porch, in the open if possible. Pray in your house. The point is to pray together as one in the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ. Pray, prepare your hearts, and put on your full armor, abiding in Christ. May the spirit of God and of glory rest upon you. I love you all, David.
